    Hi Team Satechi

I'm afraid none of these instructions have helped. New MacBook Pro, plugged in adapter - video, power, usb work fine, but Ethernet is not working.

Did step 1 above, but issue is that plugging in the ethernet cable to the adapter does not even register within the network settings?

Network cable is working fine - but adapter is not finding the network / cable at all?

    Dear Darren,

    Thank you for choosing Satechi!

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Please remove the Type-C Hub from the MacBook and perform a SMC (system management controller) reset on the MacBook.

    • Step 1: Completely shut down the computer.
    • Step 2: Attach the MagSafe or USB-C power adapter to your computer so you have a power source.
    • Step 3: Press the left-side Shift (⇧), Control, and Option keys, along with the power button on your keyboard all at the same time. (for 10 seconds)
    • Step 4: Release all of the keyboard keys at the same time, including the power button.
    • Step 5: Turn your computer back on using the power button.

Reconnect the Type-C Hub to the MacBook. "USB 10/100/1000 LAN" should now appear in your list of network interfaces. If your issue persists, please contact us at support@satechi.com

    Thank you,

Step 5 of your instructions fails for me because "USB 10/100/1000 LAN" doesn't appear in the list when I try to add it again.
